Creamy, milky, ice-cream and sherbet colors. Punches of coral. Charcoal. I spent the whole weekend on this project, mesmerized all the while by visions of jade milk-glass, buttercream and pistachio honey ice cream. I adore these colors. But if I told you about the rest of my weekend, it would bore you straight to tears. So I'll spare you, friends. What did you do?
Love,
Rebekka

Wow... So jealous of your talent!
I spent my weekend at a fabulous pizza brunch in Brooklyn, doing my nails, doing laundry, reading Catching Fire and eating friend chicken. Not very productive, but very relaxing.
Lovely! :-)
Oh, did a little bit of this and a little bit of that. :-) Good weekend!
Everything you paint is so pretty <3
Last weekend I went to the David Hockney exhibition in London. It was very lovely.

Good Morning Angel.
love these pictures! I always like to see your paintings but it's a nice change to see your pretty palette, too. :)
I love those colors as well! It looks like a lovely piece.
And I'm sure my weekend would bore you as well ;) haha
The colors are beautiful - some of my favorites. :) Can't wait to see the finished product!
Your color scheme reminds me of the super cute collection of children's clothing at Gap this season. I commented to Caitlin that it all reminds me of peaches, cream and pistachios. Such beautiful shades of colors!
We had a lot of fun in Japan town and enjoying 70 degrees in San Francisco :)
oh my goodness your work is just so unbelievably beautiful! i love it so much, it is very geeky but this colour combo makes me slightly breathless!!! it is just lovely!! Xxx
Gorgeous- more posts like this please. :) I would love to see house photos along with the finished portrait too.
I LOVE these! What beautiful photos- I especially adore that charcoal gray paper as the background.
Very lovely! Is that gouache? How do you keep it from drying before you're done, or do you just work really fast?
I played with gouache for the first time this weekend, but my palette was drying faster than I could work.
biggest blog crush on you! and your dainty painting style. i love love love it! my weekend was well thank you! hoping this week isnt as rainy!
you are too cute. i'd say your weekend was far from boring, surrounded by such prettiness.
we took a looong family nap on saturday and it made me wish i took naps every day.
WOW!!
Lovely!
WOW!
I had a relaxing weekend with my little family. We went for a walk. We got some visits by friends and family. I got some beautiful things from my cousin (I've posted about.;))... I had a beautiful weekend, actually. Thanks for asking. :)
I listed several new greeting cards on Etsy and spent time with my hubby and puppy!
ah beautiful stuff!
What great color choices! My weekend was spent nursing this blasted cold that won't leave me alone!
sweet colors, they steal my thoughts and take them to a dreamy seaside with beautiful soft white sand...
My weekend was also work...sweet work, since I love it so.
And reopened my Etsy shop. So work. Again. Exciting, yes. But work.
I dream of picnics on polka dotted blankets. But since grass would be more suitable than snow for this, I think I still need to postpone these kinds of weekend plans. So I rest with work for now :)
I have been following your blog for a while and I am always bewildered by your beautiful world...
Wishing you a warm week with sparkles of spring!
Love,
Erika
Very pretty colors!
Let's see. it was pretty great. I was in Brooklyn and I went on a carousel ride, ate macarons & chocolate and later middle eastern food. I did a lot of knitting on a dress in a really pretty pinkish red shade and made some yummy thai food. I also watched Sylvia with Gwyneth Paltrow. Have you seen it? I thought it was good.
So gorgeous. I love these colors combinations.
So beautiful! You are so talented.
